Increasing philanthropic investment in Indigenous communities worldwide by promoting cross-cultural understanding, sharing of knowledge
On Saturday, June 2, Evelyn Arce, Executive Director of IFIP, was one of the speakers at a virtual event that explored the subject of The Indigenous Wisdom & Modern Science Summit. This conversation was a part of the Spring of Sustainability 2012 speakers series, three months of free virtual events with in depth conversations with over 100 visionary leaders of environmental sustainability.
The Summit is free and easily accessible by phone or web to everyone either live or as a replay for a week following the event. Also featured at the event was a live-streaming of ”The Shaman’s Apprentice” – the award-winning film by Miranda Productions narrated by Susan Sarandon, which documents the work with the extraordinary shamans of the Amazon.
